My husband and I went "leaf peeping" this weekend!! As we drove by this field there was this one cow hanging out all alone and it made such a beautiful sight that I made my husband turn around so that I could take some pictures of it. I remembered my homework assignment so I took one centered and another using the rule of thirds.
I have to say that I like the one that is not centred the best. It seems more natural and not so planned.
Then I took some photos of my dogs between two trees for my frame blog and decided I would do the same with them. and again I like the one where they're off to the side. I find this amusing since I am a very symmetrical person and I have a hard time doing anything where one side seems "heavier" than the other and I usually try to center everything in my photos. Now I may never take another centered photo. :0)

Just excellent. On the puppy dog shot they both look great because they are framed by the trees..the cow at first looked like it was floating above the grass. Okay I will put on my glasses. But definately the cow on the third is better...uh that's an interesting comment that it is more natural...
